After every high-pressure situation, jot down the experience, your feelings during the time, and the outcome. Reflect weekly on how these moments contribute to your growth and resilience. If that comeback last week is fresh or the tight match three months ago still resonates, this activity will cement your progress and foster improvement. It can also help you process a negative memory so that you can learn from it rather than dwell on it.
Choose a dedicated notebook or app for your Stress Log.
Write a brief entry after each competitive event or stressful situation.
Include the situation, initial feelings, actions taken, and the outcome.
Reflect on these entries every week to observe patterns, victories, and areas for developing mental strategies.
